Mercan Engineering was established on 1988, in İzmir, as a small workshop. In first decade Mercan participated in engineering projects and worked as Tier1 supplier for BMC Company producing metal parts. In 1995, Mercan changed its name to Mercan Machinery and produced its own patented “leather processing machines”. In second decade, Mercan continued with engineering projects and machine production. In 2003, Mercan moved to a bigger factory in İzmir – Kemalpaşa. In 2005, Mercan earned ISO9001 certificate and started to supply bigger companies. Starting from 2010, Mercan regularly attended international fairs and increased its export. Then, in 2014, Mercan moved to Manisa Industrial Park. In 2021, Axle Housing Ring Production Facility was opened in Manisa Muradiye region. Today, Mercan is a supplier of metal parts for worldwide brands, in automotive, energy and construction machinery sectors. Mercan aims to satisfy its customers and employees by achieving ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 quality standards
